Morning Work
Here are some of the "normals" for our morning. After arrival and unpacking, students who do not eat breakfast at school get started on morning work. I posted the blank morning worksheet last week. You can print several because we use the same one each day. Below is today's morning work. Imagine that everything on here is actually on a bulletin board. The students use their weekly spelling words (March 22 post) for Question #1. All others can be completed by looking at this "bulletin board". Link to original size
While I work on fixing the links to our Calendar Math, please take a virtual field trip to Disney!

Happy 1st Day of Spring
Good Morning! Day 4...
I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy. I love hearing from everyone and getting photos of your sweet kiddos. I miss seeing everyone and I miss my daily routine. I have been taking this time to work around my house, play with my dogs (I have 5) and get some extra sleep and self-care. I know this is a stressful time but please know that whatever school work you do with your kids right now is a bonus. Don't feel pressure to get a lot of work done with them. The packets I sent home and the emails and ideas I am sending are for you to do if you want to. There are so many learning opportunities for your children in your day to day lives-let their learning come naturally!
Today I am going to add a worksheet you can print for morning work. Each day I will try to post a new morning work "bulletin board". Not everyone can do this type of morning work so I will also post an alternative activity for those students. We do morning work every day when the students arrive at school. Like everything I send, these are optional lessons but might help your children with the routine they are used to. Here is the standard worksheet that can be used every day. You can print just one or a few.
